Co-founder of the Studio and one-man band that animates, edits, provides Arabic translations and stays in touch with our clients. Meanwhile – Adobe After Effects evangelist, former freelancer. Always concerned about the clients’ needs, he arranges every single puzzle carefully, so that every project lives long and prospers. When not completing every previously mentioned task, Błażej scours Vimeo in search for inspiration, new solutions and latest trends. He’s not capable of boredom – as admitted by himself, it must be some kind of ADHD. His quirks: traveling, blogging, driving Land Rover. Evening time is perfect for escaping out of the city and the night is perfect for reading. Reading books about traveling that is.
Started as our animation greenhorn, learning everything from the very basic level. Previously focusing more on graphic and web design, while studying at AGH – the most righteous tech university in Poland. Heavy ToonBoom and After Effects user. Ideas usually haunt him at 3 AM, just before the bed time. To save them from oblivion, trusted chalkboard comes to the rescue. Before animating a character, he likes to feel himself in – often by wriggling back and forth and hand flapping. Nobody in office calls him by his name. In his relaxation mode he plays Glenn Miller on vinyl and cooks. Instagram’s #foodporn is not going to update itself!
Member of project management squad that takes care of animated series created at Studio Pigeon. Graduating from National Film School in Łódź enabled her to pursue career in film production. She gained experience in New Amsterdam, while working on multimedia exhibitions in II World War museum and Energy Science Centre. What Dorota loves most is working with talented people and she gets psyched the most by projects that change the world. After hours she dives into books, films or music. If not reading Stanisław Lem’s novels, she gets devoted to her two remaining passions - bike riding or avocado munching. In alternative universe, she’s an astronaut and orbits somewhere in the outer space.
Excel master, invoice tytanide, Board’s right-hand. Her knowledge of accounting and finances helps her deal with charts, holiday leaves and office supply orders. She’s enthusiastic about scandinavian culture, Rossini, mountain trips and good coffee. Very devoted to work and her two children but as soon as she finds some time off, she spends it either reading pile of books or watching some good TV series. All she needs to be fully happy, is an aquarium with exotic fish.
Graduate of Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, where she gained background in narrative figure. Now - animation illustrator for Studio Pigeon. Her greatest inspiration is… caffeine – loud music and gallon of coffee are two important compounds of effective work. At work – surrounded by fun and colourful doodles, but after hours this lady is drawing skulls & bones in the peace of her home. When this dark secret comes out, it makes everybody feel awkward, and makes Ewa feel satisfied. Her main goal in life is to fill every blank space with comic drawing. She’s halfway there.
Always happy and cheerful. She commenced her career as an illustrator for Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure games. Her ideas pop up in the most random moments ever but no matter where it comes from - the outcome is always going to be perfect. Grupa Smacznego – animation studio in Gdańsk – taught her teamwork and she started to make use of that experience here, as she flew to the Pigeon nest driven by nostalgia for her native Cracow. In the meantime she’s into sewing and being top chef. Her baking is well known as a remedy for autumn and winter blues. Her specialty? Chocolate brownie and lemon muffins. Yum!
Nominated to open Studio’s office in Warsaw. Responsible for advertising projects and client service. No stranger to film production and marketing management – as an example: she ran crowdsourcing projects in MilionYou. After living in Spain, England and Cracow, Gosia fell in love with Warsaw and doesn’t feel like moving again any time soon. Her personal goal is to change perception of Account Managers – they can be creative too! Thanks to completed Audience Design workshops, she’s involved in managing audience for european films. After work she can be found in dark cinema rooms or home, where she dives into various reportages.
A freelancer for over a decade. With a background in graphic design, she easily became the master of explainer videos in Studio Pigeon. Her skilled hand is in charge of Studio’s CI, offers, and booklets. She’s everybody’s friend - including our postman’s! She managed to combine two of her beloved branches, illustration, and graphic design, while working on apps and games. What inspires her most? Slavic culture and mythology, as well as every piece of folk art and crafts. She loves domesticated animals, especially hens. Her drug of choice: watching The Moons regularly.
Her life before Studio Pigeon is like a blank page to her. Probably she studied animation at University of Fine Arts in Poznań. As an illustrator and ToonBoom character animator, Klaudia has only one rule – simplicity is the key. She is mostly influenced by modern steelworks, anime and David O’Reilly. After hours, she’s into gaming, drawing and internet debates. Known to the world as Javvie – cute little red worm.
Project Terminator – liaison officer, connecting our clients and the rest of the team. In charge of deadlines, formalities and workflow. Living definition of multitasking. Co-creating office structure from the very beginning. Before that, she nearly became: sociologist, radio speaker and polyglot. After work she makes flower coronets, grows herbs, rides her bike and masters losing at board games. Favourite foods? Eggplants and sun dried tomatoes. Office dealer – her secret liqueurs are legendary as they cure every sickness.
You can't see her, but you surely will hear her. Head of Production in Studio, but in reality more like its neck. In charge of schedules, and if you wake her up in the middle of the night, she can easily list all deadlines and correct every coma. Such responsible tasks are the reason that after work she prefers soft sounds of opera or musicals or even blunt silence. Well, unless she breaks it with her contagious laugh.
As a Project Manager she’s driven by perfectionism in every task she’s engaged in. She schedules every part of the project so that everything is oiled and efficient. Former revisor and marketing manager at various Cracow restaurants. Officially known as the very first Pigeon of the Week. She devoted her free time to watching films, buying CDs and complaining about not having what to wear. Cooking? Not so much. You can always spot her laugh, even from few kilometres.
CEO and co-founder of the Studio – responsible for crucial projects. As the sailors might say, he sails the ship smoothly, safe from the icebergs. Previously briefly associated with advertising and film industry – since 2012 devoted to the Studio Pigeon and its development. His life motto is “Get things movin’ ” – constant personal development and getting better every single day. What inspires him most are people he works with and somehow managed to gather together. His greatest challenge is to learn to get up earlier and get to sleep later AND… to learn rigging. He devours favourite books like doughnuts. His favourite words are: render, fuck-up, and of course, PIGEON.
Experienced businessman and creative strategist. Leadership and imagination – those are his crucial puzzles for effective development of IT and digital media companies. Head of IT company HIDDENDATA. Founder and co-owner of PIGEON GROUP. His personal mission is to find talented people and enable them to grow and cooperate – that helps them to create extraordinary things within structures managed by Paweł. He also motivates and oversees team. Previously in charge of IT and visual projects for many global brands, such as Saudi Aramco, FOX Networks, Intel, Microsoft, Adobe, Autodesk or Bayer. In the meantime, he is most likely to be found in the kitchen or his garage. As he admits himself, his car has cosmetics than him.
In charge of illustrations, storyboards and animatics. Now working on animated series Hug Me. Before he was trapped in pigeon form, his life consisted of freelance graphic design, altar and sculpture renewal and renovation of paintings in orthodox churches. Before creating a storyboard, he reads the script very carefully and the frames, scenery and character motion just pop right up. At home busy with taming dangerous beast – Bobek the dog. He has still a lot of work with that, as well as with his own animated film.
Motion designer and character animator, fluent in After Effects, Toon Boom and Photoshop. More interested in gaining knowledge about animation software, than his philosophy background. He works fast, sticks to the plan, remembers about deadlines. His best ideas appear while he’s at work. He likes to tell stories in cinematic manner. Literature and design freak by day, Fifa pro by night.
Art Director with a real calling. Academy of Fine Arts graduate, he acquired his title in Lithography Department. His experience in advertising helps him a lot, even though today he's more into animation. Always full of new ideas and always learning how not to waste the best ones. Sociable loner and outgoing introvert - it depends on a situation. Addicted to TV shows and movies, as well as video and board games.
